Hello Laketown families! I wanted to take a moment to invite you to our Meet the Teacher/Unpack Your Backpack night on Thursday, August 20, 2026 from 4:00-5:30. Students and families will have the opportunity to meet their new teacher for the school year, as well as unpack their school supplies so they are ready to rock and roll on our first day of school. We are looking forward to meeting our new families, and welcoming pack our returning Lions to the pride.

The Women’s Professional Baseball League (WPBL) is proud to call Springfield home for its inaugural season, and we’re excited to help our families experience the action!
As part of a special partnership with District 186, District 186 families have the opportunity to receive FREE tickets to select Thursday night WPBL games this season.
